If only i was not afraid to splash in the rain with my DSLR...
Look at the above picture, it's an aftermath of a storm that happened last year in 2009. It was a graduation carnival, celebrating the convocation of UPM's grad students. Too bad it was a stormy day, thus resulting in a devastating mess to the traders around that area. The tents were topsy-turned upside-down, tables were flying above peoples heads, along with chairs and other light objects. Sigh, wouldn't THE ACTUAL STORM be a great shot to show instead of what happened after the storm was over? Honestly, wouldn't it?
Let's face it, without a water/weather resistant body, my Sony Alpha-200 DSLR wouldn't stand a chance against the strong typhoon that crashed the area at that moment, making me miss stunning shots like how exactly did the tents were overturned by the huge typhoon.
Isn't there an affordable camera that would let me rush into storms without letting me worry if water would be seeping into the parts and causing me to fry up RM2000 or more?
